Using Bolba

Terms of service

Effective September 28, 2026

These terms are between you and Ketankumar Bodarya, trading as Bolba, and apply to your use of Bolba, a language-learning service offering speaking practice, automated feedback, progress tracking, and community features. By using Bolba, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You can contact the Bolba operator at ketbod386@gmail.com.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of legal adulthood, a parent or guardian must approve your use. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Learning and automated feedback

Bolba provides practice tools, not accredited instruction or certification. Transcription, corrections, and scores are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. Use your judgment when applying feedback. We do not guarantee a particular learning outcome, score, or level of fluency.

Acceptable use

Do not use Bolba for unlawful activity, harassment, impersonation, or sharing content you have no right to use. Do not upload private information about others without permission, attempt to access another person’s account, bypass usage limits, disrupt the service, or exploit security weaknesses. Community posts and comments must be respectful.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Bolba permission to process, store, and display that content as needed to provide the features you use, including generating feedback and showing community content to other users. This permission is limited to operating the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for submitted recordings and posts.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms or pose a security or safety risk.

Our service and intellectual property

Bolba and its licensors retain ownership of the service, software, branding, and learning materials, except for content you own. You may use the service for your own language practice under these terms. You may not copy, resell, or misuse the service or infringe another person’s intellectual property rights.

Plans and payments

Current prices and allowances are shown on our pricing section and confirmed at checkout. Prices are listed in US dollars. Applicable taxes and the final amount due are shown before payment. Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring payments at the amount and interval disclosed at checkout.

The free trial provides five speaking sessions per account. Paid practice minutes reset each billing month and do not roll over. Recording time, including pauses, is counted to the next second after successful feedback. Failed attempts do not use your allowance. Recording limits and plan features are displayed before purchase.

Paddle is our merchant of record and processes purchases under its Checkout Buyer Terms. A checkout labeled “Test mode” or “Sandbox” is for testing only, does not charge real money, and does not create a paid purchase. Do not enter real payment-card details in a test checkout.

Cancellation, plan changes, and refunds

You can cancel using the subscription controls in your workspace or the customer portal linked from your Paddle receipt. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access until then and will not be charged for the next renewal. Canceling does not itself refund earlier payments.

Before you confirm a plan change, Bolba shows any immediate charge and when the change takes effect. Our Refund policy explains refund eligibility and how to request help through Paddle. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how Bolba handles account information, recordings, transcripts, learning history, and community content. Read it before submitting personal information.

Availability and changes

Features may change, and maintenance, provider outages, or other issues may interrupt access. We may change or discontinue features, subject to any obligations to users. You can stop using Bolba at any time and request account deletion by emailing us. We may suspend access for misuse, legal requirements, or security reasons.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bolba is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Updates and questions
